There have been PLENTY of instances where doing so served absolutely no useful purpose
I was only observing that some people are bothered by things that others are not. Iâm confident that there are things that upset me which 99% of people could not care less about. The only time I am bothered by a revived dead thread is when I forget to check the date and answer an OP who probably no longer owns the vehicle. Even then I am only bothered that I forgot to check and feel like an idiot. I am a member of an unrelated forum which enforces a 1 year limit. If the Car Talk Community powers that be did something like that it would not bother me at all.
