It’s Top Tier, and the cheapest gas nearby, except for non-TT Sams. So I get QT.
Cherry Hill NJ is $2.34 to $2.67 today.
We have a local gas chain (Irving) that started selling Top Tier last year. And they are among the Cheapest. Cheaper then Speedway.
Sweet deal!
I found out that QT = Quick Trip

Some of you guys must be well below that, eh?
What prices are you paying near you?

$1.65 at Sams Club.
2.89 at the Chevron on the way home last night.
The oil market is in a heck of a mess and the rest of the economy with it. It may take years to unscramble the shale field debacle and they are burning off oceans of natural gas at well heads because the market price is so cheap it’s not worth shipping to a bloated market. As usual the unintended results of a grand scheme are very costly.
I probably shouldn’t, but I’ll bite.
Please don’t get my gas prices discussion closed down, but in a polite, carefully worded, non-political, unbiased sentence or two… What “grand scheme?”
Oh, and on topic, what’s your gas price for regular?

Gas prices in Cherry Hill, NJ( suburb of Philadelphia) are averaging $2.20 right now. I don’t know if they are top tier or not.
That’s crazy!! $1.65/gallon!
That could be the latest winner!
Can anybody in the Community beat that??

$1.97 and nine tenths for 87 octane as of March 12 at my local top tier QT station in my suburb of St. Louis MO.
Typically, at other stations within about ten to fifteen miles, including other QTs, prices have differences of a ten to twelve cents range at most. All the dozen gas stations near me are usually the same or no more than a few cents difference and all usually fall somewhere in the lower half of prices throughout the metro area.
Nope, I don’t need gas 'cause I got no place to go but I noticed the sign said $1.99 yesterday.
I agree. From my understanding demand was way down because of air travel so the Saudi’s tried to reduce production to prop prices up. Russia said no so the dominoes fall. There is some discussion that Russia is trying to force other producers to their knees, like the US. So let’s enjoy the fight while it lasts. This too will pass.
Air travel wasn’t down until Covid-19 mitigation’s hit in the last week or two. The Saudi-Russian price war has been going on for a bit longer. Domestic airlines didn’t start canceling flights until this week. If flights aren’t cancelled, they still fly, no matter how full they are.
Domestic maybe but not world-wide. Been going on for several months in other parts of the world.
Gosh @common_sense_answer. Just off hand I recall the grand scheme to turn the Permian Basin into a financial gold mine with $billions spent on pipelines and more pipelines being built on credit and hundreds of wells now pumping with break even prices well above WTI prices now and dating back to pre OPEC/Putin argument. Some quaint old townships across the west are now ghettos and soon to be ghost towns I imagine. And the natural gas bonanza that popped up at well heads was to be more gold for the well owners with high paying jobs for laborers but flaring at the well heads is required because there is no market for the gas and no place to store it. I wonder how many banks will be bailed out by the socialist FDIC due to bankrupt wells?
And have I ever been less than polite and relatively on center politically?
No, of course not, but not being familiar with what was meant as a “grand scheme,” it sounded to me like something that could lead to a firestorm of opinions.

I can’t imagine how tough we make Carolyn’s job on a regular basis @common_sense_answer and I try to keep my sometimes left leaning opinions relatively calm here just as I do most places on line and in person, hoping that differences of opinion don’t get out of hand here or elsewhere.
When I was a kid, gas and cigarettes were both 25 cents. Ice cream cones were a nickel, 3 scoops for a dime. Adjuster for inflation, gas is really cheap.
Also a coke was 5 cent’s unless you took the bottle then it was a 2 cent deposit
