“Some of the other “choices” is how they market the cars.”
That’s the most important part of the survey. Ford, GM, and Dodge all market their pick-up trucks strictly to men. And no wonder, given the results of the survey discussed in this thread.

I drive a diesel New Beetle. (My second car was a 1970 Beetle) I also had a Miata. If a man is a real man, he does not worry about what someone else things is a girlie car, but buys what he likes and does not let others decide for him because he is secure in his manhood.
I suggest those who make a car decision based on what they think someone else will think of them, is the real wimp.
My plate is BAA HUM. I enjoy watching people in a parking lot looking at the plate and then finally the big smiles when they figure it out.
I normally drive my 4Runner. Every once in a while, the wife’s out of town, or for some other reason I get the opportunity to drive her Jetta. I’ve heard others call it a girlie car, but I don’t care. It’s so much FUN to drive a nimble little machine after driving my truck all the time.
And to top all that, I agree with Joseph_E_Meehan. I’m secure enough I don’t really care what they think. As long as they’re not shooting at me, we’re good.
