Used seafoam in gas tank

PUT CAN OF SEAFOAM IN NISSAN AND NOW AFTER 2DAYS IT IS IS FUMIGATING THE WORLD WITH WHITE SMOKE FROM THE TAILPIPE. HAS THE SEAFOAM DAMAGED THE FUEL SYSTEM, FOWLED THE INJECTORS OR WHATE

How much did you put in, and how much gas is in the tank? The web site says 1-2 ounces/gallon, so if you have a full 15 gallon tank you could have put up to a quart in with no ill effects, as long as you filled up with gas afterwards.

First, do consider that the option that you could have had a purely coincidental head gasket failure - what does the smoke smell like? If it is somewhat sweet smelling then you may be burning coolant. But my guess is that it smells acrid, that you put in a fairly high concentration of Sea Foam, that you have a lot of carbon build-up, and that you might just be seeing the Sea Foam doing its job.

Incidentally, what is it that prompted you to run the Sea Foam? Anything in particular?

I have the same question as Cigroller. Something prompted you to try the Seafoam. What was it?

SEAFOAM? What’s Seafoam? What does it do?

Did you try filling gas tank to dilute the product to the proper concentration- if is the wrong ratio?
