I was working on the radio in the dash of my 2003 toyota corolla and somehow activated the airbag warning light on the instument panel. It stays on solid and will not go off. The srs systemwas not disturbed near as I can tell. How can I reset the light?
Somewhere behind the dash will be an airbag “module”. Make sure you did not disturb it…Otherwise, see your Toyota dealer who can scan the system to determine faults…Making that light go off can get expensive…
While you were working on the radio did you disconnect the positive battery cable? Toyotas will set the SRS warning light sometimes when the battery voltage is disconnected. So far I have not found anyone but the dealer that can reset the SRS warning light.
If you find an alternate source of a reset, share it with us.
