FIRST thing to check is whether yours is one of the Hondas that have a child safety lock system. Look in your owner’s manual. Its function is to thwart little ones in back from endangering themselves by opening a door on their own. I’ve been surprised how many Honda owners have been unaware that they had such a feature until it was inadvertantly activated, and I accomplished the quickest repair in history by simply reaching over and throwing a switch. Once your kid comes, this is a feature you’ll WANT to know about!
