The tab on my wife’s 2005 Ford Taurus rear window defroster broke off the grid. I got the (very) specific “tab adhesive kit” and followed the directions exactly. The tab sticks fine but the defroster still won’t work. Any ideas ?? Fuse and switch are fine and 12Volts is getting to the tab.
There is a break in the circuit somewhere. There are repair kits to fix the window portion. I have never tried them as I still have one horizontal wire that does not work. Your first thing to look at is breaks, and repair them. Something is not connecting, now find out where.
