I had a fender bender a few months ago. Another car sideswiped my car. My car is white and his was red. So, I need a quick and inexpensive way to fix it. I just don’t want to take it into a body shop and spend lots of money for something so simple. Any suggestions???
I would start by try some car wax. It might just take care of it. If not then try an automotive polishing compound. It not that the next is rubbing compound. You want to use the lest aggressive material possible.
Follow the instructions on the container. Depending on how much damage was done and how “fussy” you are about your car, you may get off very cheap or you may need the panel repainted. If that is necessary it is time to see the professional auto paint shop.
