I have a 98 Chevy C10. The wipers want to shut off (especially when raining) then start again when they want. I’ve had it happen on few occasions and had to pull over cause I could not see the road. Any ideas on how to fix/diagnose the problem?
I live in southern NH (Seabrook) any good repair shops that might fix this?
Common failure,wiper “pulse assembley” Locate wiper module at firewall (in engine compartment) cover is held on by 3 Torx head screw (#15 or #20) remove cover module will pull straight out,slide new pulse assembley in replace cover.
The S-10 is the hardest one to access but still possible,takes about 15min part is $40.00-$60.00 (I haven’t bought one in a long while)
