Improving gas mpg

I was reading an article on the Pulstar pulse plug and was wondering,Are these plugs any good and will they improve my gas millage on my 2004 v8 pickup truck and are they worth the money at $25.00 a piece?

We’ve had a recent long discussion on Pulstars. I don’t think anyone wants to reopen it. See here: http://community.cartalk.com/posts/list/164017.page.

No. A sparkplug just ignites the air/fuel mixture in the cylinder. It doesn’t matter if the sparkplug is made from platinum, iridium, or gold. It also doen’t matter if the sparkplug has one, two, four, or ten ground electrodes. Or if the electrodes have notches, grooves, or are split. The spark is going to jump to the electrode with the path of least resistance.
