Shop. iPad changing words to nonsense. I think he was around Macon.
Don’t feel bad. I think what I wrote might of came out wrong. I meant he was johnny in the song, not the devil.
I’m a little slow today. When our woodworking board blew up over night, I regretted never printing out contact information on some of the main members. All over the place in Japan, uk, Canada, etc. I’ve followed a couple of the folks now but most are lost to history. When the server blows, it’s all over.
Transman618 gave up because of the persistent grief he got here from Elly Ellis. He was one of the best, on par with OK4450. He saved countless people countless dollars by answering their transmission based questions. I’ve said for years that anyone in his neck of the woods ought to buy the guy lunch.
But that one poster just pestered him so much that he gave up and moved on. Our loss.
The name is familiar but I just don’t remember the strife. Too bad.
Oh, I do. EllyEllis fought with nearly everybody. There was one particularly nasty stretch with Whitey.
Whitey didn’t shy away from conflict either.
Transman actually gave me some good advice on my 1995 Mitsu Galant when I 1st joined this forum. The Galant was the reason I joined the forum, hence my handle. I came from an all stick shift world, so really needed help on autos.
As mentioned, I believe the main reason for him disappearing was being busy with his new shop and his family.
Oh I remember well. The two of them were a particularly potent combination, I meant. It wasn’t supposed to be pinned on one.
