I think it’s interesting that–if you put all the componentry under one hood–most peoply clearly understand the folly, but if you put the hydrogen generation, fueling, and burning hundreds of miles distant, and many people are “gung-ho” about hydrogen cars, and cannot see the parallels.
Yeah…Gassifier systems DO WORK… Vapor Carbs DO WORK… Whats the analogy to the HHO though ? PLEASE tell me because if you can offer anything besides your weak and very generalized opinion. I and many other are ALL EARS… You have to understand Amos…THAT WE WANT TO BELIEVE… Just show us and if it works the intelligent ones will adopt the system… I may be the very first actually.
I would LOVE something like the On board vehicle HHO system to provide dividends in MPG…I would absolutely LOVE IT. I installed a Waste Oil system on my VW Golf TDi and that system paid undeniable benefits. The proof was undeniable, because it was real. I wouldn’t have to refill my diesel tank while driving cross country for 1488 MILES using my waste oil system. The results could not be argued…at all. Longevity of course could probably be questioned but not the ability to run that engine on used fry oil…that was proven and continues to be proven today. But the waste oil system is FAR far from this on board HHO system…its not even on the same page.
Well…I have asked…and I believe about 11 others have also nicely asked… What is Cooler, Smoother and Quieter with your vehicle? What were it’s issues before…and explain the vague results that you offered ? You have been asked at least 12 times that I know of to explain the Smoother, Cooler n Quieter comment you have made. All you need to do is answer…we are asking because we really do want to know, not to poke fun !
Did you ever wash Wax n Detail your car…and Swear on a stack of Bibles that she ran better afterwards?? I KNOW that I have! Now of course I know its just me at that point in time, but the feeling is no less real ! Placebo effect indeed !
So what do you think guys? Should I just KILL this post or what? I think I’ve caused enough mayhem for the holidays…what do you think?

@meanjoe75fan Good comment. Get so tied up with people more interested in energy loss, etc.
I have in fact put all my components in a transportable toolbox that serve a multiple of purposes.
Wow man… You are suffering from selective hearing/answering huh? Well…let it not be said that I and many have asked nicely. Doesn’t seem to be working however.
PLEASE keep in mind…we are after more MPG from the HHO…it was its primary shining example of what to expect from the system… All other comments about what else it does are irrelevant when you are promised to increase MPG as its the characteristic on which it should be judged.
It promised MORE MPG… Does it or doesn’t it? I cant boil it down any simpler than this. It promised more mpg… Yes or No? That’s all we care about because that’s what the money spent was meant to buy.

Enough Already !
AGREED… Shall I delete this?
@“Bill Russell” Vague HHO??? HHO is OxyHydrogen aka Knalgas in Germany. Was used for cutting and welding metals until the acetylene torch was invited. Still used in jewelry and polishing of glass, mylar, etc. It is real sir, not some made up acronym for Frenge Scientists.
Look at the main engines of the space shuttle. The fuel they burn is Hydrogen and Oxygen, when combined produce great thrust and electricity and water. It is an Exothermic reaction. Of course they use large storage tanks of Hydrogen and Oxygen.
We (frienge people like meself), do it on a much smaller scale…‘on demand’ meaning we don’t store anything. It is an Endothermic reaction, meaning it requires 2 volts to seperate H2 and O
from H2O.
We (frienge people) produce HHO at the rate of about 1 lpm on demand and inject it into the air filter housing where it mixes with the air fuel and does a more complete burn of the fuel in the combustion process.
Whelp. That long string of short posts settles it for me. We have ourselves a troll here, folks. Please stop feeding it.
Reckon this is a good place for me to stop. Need to give all the Armchair skeptics a chance to catch their breath and start circling my wagon with their arrows at hand. Merry Christmas folks.
OK…I’m killing this post…
Amos… Stay Cool, Be Quiet and everything will Smooth out here buddy.

Ok folks, since I accused as being a troll, I leave this forum. I too am killing this post and exiting gracefully in peace I pray. Bye
Ever see the movie “The Breakfast Club” ? Know that part where everyone in the library is shouting at Claire… "Just Answer the Question! "
I kind of feel like that right now. That’s all we asked…we simply asked you to answer a question. Sorry you feel like we are being hostile…we aren’t …at all. I’m going back to my Armchair either way.
Remember…Be Cool, Stay Quiet, All will Smooth out…

Awww! Don’t kill the thread. I don’t have anything smart or clever to add, but this sure is amusing to read.
This discussion reminds me of one we had at our house at a party. It was back in 1952 and Werner von Braun had written an article about space travel. There was a furious group who claimed this was impossible, while others said that it was theoretically possible but a long way off.
The latter group understood physics and mathematics. The opponents had the religious zeal of the Middle Ages Catholic Church throwing astronomers in jail for suggesting the earth revolved around the sun.
If you watch enough Disney movies and Road Runner cartoons playing havoc with the laws of gravity and physics, you can believe almost anything!
As pointed out by several, the laws of thermodynamics and entropy state that with each change of energy the result will be less. In other words, in nature there is no free lunch either.
Hydrogen is NOT an energy source, it is merely a transformation form one form of energy to another. Air head environmentalists touting the “Hydrogen Economy” can’t tell you where you “mine” hydrogen, or how it can be produced.
However, if you want to clad your house in solar panels and store he energy in your basement in batteries, you can indeed “drive for nothing”, not counting the capital and operating costs of this energy system.
amos can’t answer any of those questions asked of them because in order to do so, they would have to install all kinds of data acquisition equipment to monitor engine performance and emissions. Then the vehicle would have to driven for at least a year under all conditions for real believable data.
We did this on a few Los Angeles city buses to collect operating data for diesel emission testing on our engine dyno back at the lab. That way we could exactly duplicate the transient operating conditions of the buses.
So, unless amos has done this kind research/testing, anything stated is anecdotal at best.

darn, how many times is he gonna say goodbye?
…I still think that with my cap covered in solar panels and a small storage battery, and plenum tank, I could increase my mileage with hydrogen…
or an extra air driven generator behind the grill…
@"Tester What makes you think I have not done all that?
Emissions testing is the 'proof in the puddin"

What did your vehicle read?
@Docnick Hydrogen is the most plentiful element in the universe.
Using stored Hydrogen, Hydrogen Hybrid vehicles combine H2 with Air to produce Electricity to power vehicles. H2 + Air = -e + H2O
@“Ed Frugal” last two comments were just for you sir.
NOPE!
Those are static conditions.
I want to see the TRANSIENT conditions.
