transmition will not engage
2020 brand new, call dealer and have them fix it under warranty, or they will explain how to put it in gear.

I didnt even know they still made Journeys
Apparently 2020 will be the last year for the Dodge Journey but I doubt that this is really a 2020.
Maybe its an 02 so it’s not a Fiat yet. If so, check fluid and if not that pick a good non-chain transmission shop. Not the ones that will tow free.
Years ago I had the transmission replaced in a 1984 Pontiac Sunbird. When I got it home it wouldn’t go into Park. Turned out the linkage needed to be adjusted. The owner of the shop showed me where the adjustment was and told me if I wasn’t satisfied with their work I could adjust it myself. I did and I never went back to that shop. Not sure if it applies or if a Journey even has an old style linkage but it could be something to check.
