Low brake fluid or the parking brake is stuck. Either way, the local Hyundai dealer is the way to go. As oldnotdeadyet said, it’s probably covered under warranty, assuming it has less than 60k on the odometer.

Hyundai has a recall for brake light problems, check with the dealer or on line for exact details

Are you referring to the brake warning light on the dashboard, or to the brake lights on the rear of the vehicle?

In any event, you need to go–a.s.a.p.–to the dealership for free diagnosis and repairs under the terms of the Bumper-To-Bumper warranty.
