This car is consuming a quart of oil every 3000 miles. It has 82k miles which is still within the 100k powertrain warranty. Would this be considered a warranty issue? My dealer won’t consider investigating until consumption is greater than 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles.
Not even close. That amount of oil consumption is pretty low by anyone’s standards.
