A few years back, my daughter’s 2010 Cobalt got a small chip on the windshield on the passenger side. I applied a little clear nail polish and forgot about it.
Fast forward to today. My daughter had knee reconstruction back in December. Today was the first time the car has been driven since the surgery (~2.5 months). When she got back there was a crack starting at the chip going across the windshield to the driver’s side. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have had the chip properly inspected and repaired, it would have been a lot cheaper than a new windshield.
