Several Toyota Prius in my neighborhood have had their catalytic converters stolen. Since I park my Camry inside I’m not that concerned. But I may have to leave my car out due to some construction on my garage. Are the 2008’s Camry cats easily stolen? I was looking under my car and it seems that it could be reached in the middle of the car with a saws-all without lifting the car. Are there 2 cats inline on the exhaust?
There are 2 cats. One is right at the engine in the exhaust manifold, the other is downstream under the car. That one would be pretty easy to steal. But less valuable than the Prius cat, from what I read.
