What year Prius cars are at risk of having catalytic converters stolen?

Why do you ask?
I have a 2015, but it seems like it would be very difficult to get to it, so I’m wondering if the expense for a covering is warranted.
I think I will ask Car Talk to consider a column about this.
Just call a few local muffler shops and ask what they charge for a guard for your cat . It might be months before there is a Car Talk article. Also check with your insurance about your coverage for theft.
