There is a loud grinding sound coming from the right front wheel well, mostly at lower speeds, louder when braking, but it also happens when I’m not breaking. I replaced the discs, pads, and calipers, and that didn’t fix the problem. It is front wheel drive
Maybe a wheel bearing, maybe a CV joint is bad. Could even be a brake dust shield.
Jack the car up at the front, remove wheels, place in neutral and turn the wheel by hand. You should be able to feel the roughness or see what is rubbing.
Was the noise happening before the brake job?
Agree with Mustangman, bearings or CV joint. Are you getting any shaking (vibration) when driving?
Set of bearings is about $30.
