my dome light stays on and my instrumental panel says my door is open, but all my doors are shut tight. it keep turning on then off…any ideas also if u know the part i need what is so i can oder it from dodge…thank you…
It sounds like a switch is failing. It may take some guessing or good trouble shooting to find where. After that it may be easy. This is a hands on thing.
open the doors, and look down there between the hinges for a few wires that go from the door to the frame. See if one of those wires is breaking or if the insulation is worn through. If not, then the next most likely cause is the sw, also located between the door and frame, and most likely mounted on the frame.
