I have this unusual problem that the door chime will continue for about 4 seconds (which is about 4-5 chimes) after I take the key out of the ignition. Sounds normal, right? Here’s the kicker, it only happens when I turn the key to run and then off. If I just put the key in and take it out it stops dinging.
I’ve searched all over the interwebs and can only find either it’s on all the time or it doesn’t come on at all. I don’t want to disable it I just want it to work like it should. I’ve checked all my contacts in the ignition and the door switch and they all work fine.
