Be careful if you have winter tires mounted on rims with or without TPMS sensors. If your car, mine is a 2011 HONDA PILOT, has wheels with no sensors, it will shut down the TPMS system leaving a light on the dashboard. Wheels with TPMS sensors mandate that the HONDA computer has to be recalibrated for the new TPMS sensors. It may be simpler to have the tire dealer just change the tires as most dealers charge to revise the car’s computer system.
