I have a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan. Recently on cold morning the engine whines rather loudly for about 15-20 minutes. It doenst matter which gear it is in, and in increases when the RPM’s increase
It could be a low fluid level on one of the hydraulic pump systems in the van. Check the fluid levels of the power steering pump and transmission. Make sure they are up to ‘Hot’ line on a level surface after driving for about 10 miles. Check the transmission with the engine running in ‘Park’.
Post back if that isn’t the problem
