Still running well - had to replace 8 year old tires - wife does not drive much with home business. How should I determine when front struts are ready to change out (miles 72,000 - 3.5L engine - solid).
When they are leaking oil down the lower tubes. Struts don’t wear out so much, they mostly wear out their seals and lose oil.

When they do wear out you may notice sqeaking or clicking noise when turning the wheel when car is stationary. If the car clunks going over bumps is another indicator.

Thanks for the reply. I had to think what this was in reference to. SUV is not doing any of those things, but just wanted to ask. 15 years old is something to think about. Thanks again.
