my wife’s 2005 Town and country is having weird electrical problems. while she’s driving all her displays will occasionally just whack out - the speedometer will start bouncing around, lights flash on and off, all the alarms go off, and then everything will shut off, then come back on and work normally. This happened infrequently and is now happening more often. since it is intermittent the Chrysler mechanics can’t figure it out. She is now afraid to drive the car! any suggestions?
I had one on another Chrysler product that the plug in the back of the cluster would work its way out JUST ENOUGH to not make full contact with every pin in the connector. Honest to God duct tape fixed it.
There could be a loose battery ground terminal or oxidized posts and lugs on same.
