A while back a caller was looking for advise to get his rear window washer to work better. One of Ray’s suggestions was to put a small clamp on the hose that leads to the nozzle. He said that would increase the pressure of the stream “like putting your thumb over the end of a garden hose”. BO-O-O-O-O-GUS!!! The velocity and pressure after the contriction will not be improved. Surprisingly, questioned this at the time or (as far as I can tell) since.
There was an earlier thread where quite a few people pointed out the silliness of that comment. It was a few weeks ago.
