Volvo S80, '04 Moisture in Xenon Headlamps

Not quite enough for goldfish… a Google results in hundred’s with the same problem but no ace solution other than Volvo should do something. Any thoughts, suggestions are most welcomed

Drilling a couple of small vent holes in the bottom of the lamp housings (one on each side of each housing) may cure that problem.

Another thing to check are the vent tubes for the headlight pods. These are small rubber hoses on the back-sides of the headlights. Sometimes spiders will deposit egg sacs in the vent tubes so the moisture can’t escape from the headlight pods.
