Happy Veteran’s Day to those who served in the military. Your sacrifices helped give us a chance to live the way we Americans do now. For me, that’s petty darned good.

I agree wholeheartedly.
However, unless we are honoring only one Veteran, it is Veterans’ Day, not Veteran’s Day. Alternatively, it can be expressed as Veterans Day, but not Veteran’s Day.
Anyway–thank you to all the veterans who have defended us over the past couple of centuries!
I am sure others would say it also but it was my honor and a priviledge to serve. Thanks for remembering all of us.
