I can not find the turn signal relay on my wife’s 2001 Dodge Caravan. I have looked under the dashboard just about the brake pedal where I have been told I would be able to find it but it doesn’t appear to be there. Can someone please tell me where it might be?
I have the same van only the Chrysler version. I haven’t needed to look into the operation of turn signals since they haven’t had a problem. After checking some data to help with your question it appears you aren’t going to find the standard flasher unit that most vehicles use. The data shows that the turn signal switch ties to the BCM (body control module) and that controls some relays which may be in the rear of the van, though I’m not sure about that yet, and they tie to the lights.
What kind of trouble are you having? Hopefully whatever it is, it is just due to a power problem. I have the service manuals for this van in case things get real down and dirty.
