I have a 2003 VW Beetle. Within the last few weeks, when I use my turn signal (and now sometimes when I don’t) the clicking sound continues even when the turn signal is off.
Would that be an issue with the wiring in the steering column? How much do you think that might cost to be repaired? Is there a way I can just silence the sound?
You’ll need a wiring diagram to check this out.
Reason I say that is because there MAY be a faulty relay causing the problem.
The relay MAY be in the fuse panel.
Check your key ring. It may be swinging back and forth when you take the turn. It’s probably tapping the steering column.
