Miles? 2wd or 4wd? If 4wd, do you have Auto 4wd? I had a 2000 Blazer LT with Auto 4wd, what is a “trip permit” button? There is no mention of it in the Owner’s Manual.
How old is the battery? I was lucky to get 3.5 years out of one. On my Blazer, if the battery charge was low (~12.1 V) the idle speed was higher and torque converter lockout would not engage.
