State farm is a mutual insurance company. As such, it is owned by the policyholders and doesn’t issue stock.

I guess I am safe from Beacon. I not only don’t want it, I can’t get it. I have not had a cell phone in 24 years and there was nothing smart about it. It was large enough to use as a weapon though. I probably save just as much by not having a cell phone bill.

I think the answer is to limit what information companies are allowed to collect and to limit them to using that information for their own purposes - ie, it can NOT be sold of distributed elsewhere.

Oh I wish that was enforceable. Who’s going to be the watchdog and how?
