How can I stop the squeaking on my clutch pedal. It squeaks when I push down or let up and it worsens as humidity increases. I have had it in the shop x2. temporary fix.
What was the temporary fix?
I’ve had a similar problem with my Jeep. Even though it’s pretty new (05). What I’ve done is tilt the driver’s seat back as far as it will go and lie face up under the dash with a spray can of silicone lube. I can get rid of the squeak temporarily by spraying the linkage bushings. It’s only mildly annoying and I haven’t taken it to a shop, but if you find a solution please post it.
