Spare tire size

CR just published tests of tire sealants:

No most of them don’t. Unless I’m mistaken, only BMW still offers them on new cars. I think Honda stopped them around 2009 or 2010, and good riddance! Tthey need a special wheel to run, they don’t last nearly as long as regular tires, are more expensive to purchase and repair…They won’t help if the sidewall or outer edge of the tread blows out. I’m glad to still have a spare under my trunk instead of those awful run flats…

I was disappointed they didn’t mention manual pumps. I worry about running down the battery.
