Hi,
looking for help on how to repair the sliding doors on both sides of an odyssey. Neither motor works, one opens easily by hand (cable is broken). The other opens by hand but is hard to open.
Is this something you can do yourself, if reasonably handy? Thanks
Depends on what you mean by reasonably handy. You will need to pull interior trim to reach the motors, Replace any part that’s broken and re-assemble. I personally hate interior work because the attaching pins and such tend to break and hidden screws. Plastic pry bars help this.
I’d YouTube this and see if anyone posted their attempt to reach these motors. Knowing where to pry and un-snap and the hidden screws is pretty helpful.
