I live in the Las Vegas area. A month ago, on a cold morning, both sliding doors stopped working (they are powered doors). After a little fiddling, one started to work. The other one still does not work, unless I force it manually. The two shops I took it to said they cannot fix it and take it to a dealer. One said, if it is the motor, the motor cost itself is $800 plus labor. Can you make a suggestion as to what I can do besides taking to the dealer? I checked all the fuses and they seemed OK. I even changed one 20 A fuse for another and that did not help (the door motor fuse is 20A).
save yourself the 800 bucks plus labor and just manually open the door. Consider it a free workout courtesy of honda.
