My father-in-law backed my 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan off a 4 foot embankment last year. Our neighbor’s SUV helped pull it back out (using a rope attached to the front of the car). Since then, I hear a creaking noise with left turns that seems to be coming from ?the steering column. Does this sound worrisome?

Where exactly was the rope tied? Is there tow hooks on the front of the van?
Was the van completely down the embankment, as opposed to stopping on the incline?
