I have a 2003 Honda CR-V. I have 86,000 miles on it. In the last 6 months, when the engine is at 1500 to 2000 rpms and I am on a flat road just holding my speed between 25 to 40 mph, the entire car shivers/shakes violently - almost like driving on a washboard road. The Honda dealer said it could be a dry-rotted engine mount but they haven’t had any problems with them. another place I trust told me the engine mounts are okay. It like a jack-hammer! No one can tell me why it does this. Does any one else have this problem and did they solve it? I asked this same question last night but only had 1 response. I’m hoping for more ideas tonight. Thanks.
