Looking for something to extend the seat front to back by about 4". I’m 6’4" and though my 2014 Subaru Outback is large enough in most ways the driver’s seat doesn’t support the front part of my leg. I could probably make something out of firm foam rubber, auto upholstery and straps. The seats are manual and unheated and are just right in every other way.
You may have to become friends with a crazy upholsterer. Although the phone book has been replaced by the internet, the theory is the same. Some are crazier than others but some solutions look insane anyway. Those twisted stitchers also have some nutty materials and enough knot tying experience to impress an Eagle Scout. There’s always hope.
