Check the relay ports for ground and power as necessary. Perhaps just a faulty connection? I’ve seen relays get hot and warp the plastic at the connectors. if you have power and ground as you should- PCM is fine, and contact to the relay may be at fault.
Shouldn’t he get a fault code 33 if the WOT is bad?
