On my way home yesterday, my 2001 S40 began to smell a little of smoke. I got home and turned the car off. I didn’t see any leaking oil that might be causing the smell. A friend suggested that it might be a burning belt. I got up this morning to take the care to the shop, and it won’t start. The battery is fine; the car just won’t turn over. Any suggestions on getting it turned on? Or is it just better to have it towed to the mechanic?
