I have a 2000 buick park ave that has started making a sound in the front end like a mud-grip tire makes on the rear end of a truck. The sound is faster as you move faster down the road. I want to think wheel bearing. What’s your thought?
Regards,
Freddy
The noise (which we cannot hear) could be from a wheel bearing, or from worn tire treads, or from a failing transmission, or…
How many miles are on your tires?
How much tread remains on them?
Are they evenly worn?
More than likely it’s a broken tire belt. If you jack it up and rotate each wheel you will be able see any wobble in the tread
