About 4 years ago my grandaughters husband’s Ranger broke the oil pump shaft. So he had his Mom’s boyfriend fix it and it has been ok since, that is until a few days ago. He has lost oil pressure again. He did drive it about .7 of a mile and back. I think the engine can be saved but I don’t know just what I have to do to get the oil pan off. It is a '99 ranger 3 liter 4X4. Does the engine have to be raised up? Does the exhaust have to be lowered? Or what? Please help.
