I bought a 2009 Colorado WT, and it did not come with the key fobs to unlock the door. The dealer says the work truck do not come with remote unlock. However, when you remove the key from the ignition, the drivers door unlocks? Also, Onstar unlocks it. Can I get an aftermarket key fob that will unlock the door?
You need to find out if your truck is equipped with a keyless reciever,check the RPO list (call Dealer and ask what number keyless remote is and look for this number in the RPO list).
Fot trucks that did not come with a factory reciever I added a aftermarket product.At least you have electric locks,this is half the battle.
If you wanted remote door locks why did you buy a brand new truck that didn’t have them?
