In 1998 Ford had a plastic Intake on the crown vics,dads cracked and was sucking air, there was a recall but he never recieved notice and had to pay out of pocket fot the repair. Who could he contact to ask about his money back? Ford want help. thanks Kenny

I’m afraid you’re out of luck. Ford stopped paying out on these claims back in 2006.

A class action lawsuit forced Ford to extend coverage for rupture of the coolant cross over to 7 years from original purchase date (IIRC). Your type of crack would not be covered anyway. Replacement intakes have an aluminum cross over. The settlement includes reimbursemet for replaced intakes.
