Rear light indicator

i have camry 2000 xle and my problem is rear light indicator turn on although all rear light work ok…

what should i do please help me

Also check if there’s a rear license plate light out. That will also turn on that dash light.

Have you already replaced any of the light bulbs?
If so, the problem might be that you have two bulbs on the same circuit that were made by different manufacturers.

While this may sound bizarre, I can tell you that on my old Volvo, unless all bulbs on each circuit were made by the same manufacturer, the “bulb burnout indicator” would light up. Toyota’s system may be as sensitive to minor differences in current draw as Volvo’s system was.
