When I turn at a very slow speed (like into a parking spot) I get a grinding noise in the front end. What is it?
Only while using the brakes? Only while not using the brakes? Only forward or backward? All slow conditions? If you jack the front up one at a time, with the wheels turned all the way first left then right, and spin them by hand, sometimes you can isolate a bad CV joint.
Whatever it is it needs to be checked thoroughly by a good mechanic. It’s most likely worn disc brake pads/rotors but to be safe have it checked out. Grinding noises indicate “something” is wrong and that’s not good.
