I have an '04 Corolla with 206k with a slight grinding noise from the right front when I make a left turn. Is it the outer CV joint? The noise sounds like the tire is rubbing against a splash guard but it’s not.

I agree. This sounds more like a wheel bearing. A bad CV joint usually pops and clicks, not grinds.
Seems most noticeable when going slow. The car has been used everyday. When I think about it, it does sound like a wheel bearing, same kind of noise. Thanks, I appreciate the help.
