I have a 2003 toyota corolla S. It’s manual. I’ve noticed (actually since I bought the car) that you must press the clutch all the way to the floor (and even more!) to get the engine started. I don’t have any similar clutch problems when shifting. However, the problem seems to be getting worse, and I’m afraid that soon I won’t be able to start the car. Please help!
There’s an interlock switch above the clutch pedal that prevents the engine from starting unless the clutch pedal is depressed. This interlock switch may be out of adjustment or defective.

Also to elaborate, they may have changed these to be more complicated on newer cars, but usually the clutch switch is just a button that the clutch pedal lever pushes when you push the pedal down. You should be able to see it by looking up under the dashboard and it may have just wiggled loose or there may be an obvious adjustment on it.
