My 1998 Cadillac Devill has side air bags in the front door panels. The drivers power window failed. I have removed the door panels on earlier autos without air bags but if I try the same methodes to get at the power window motors/mechanics, can I avoid problems with the air bags??
I would want a service manual, which would have instructions for disarming the airbags. The last thing you want is an airbag going off in your face while you’re trying to remove the door panel.
